CONSUMER GOODS

"Export Market Development of Czech-made Hand Tool and Gardening Products in Canada and the United Kingdom"
This is an ongoing project that involves a number of facilitative services to enable a Czech exporter of over 20,000 Czech-made products in the hand tool and gardening product categories to test market their “top sellers” in the Canadian and U.K. markets. Our work has included assisting the exporter with textual modifications of their marketing communications materials to better suit the Canadian and U.K. business development customs, and providing them with overviews of the Canadian and U.K. hand tool and gardening products markets and competitive climate.

The main service which we provided for this exporter, however, was in strategic partnership development. We would find qualified local hardware and home improvement product buyers, introduce them to the exporter’s company and products, and submit proposals. On request from potential buyers, we would also facilitate the delivery of product samples. For the U.K. market, we arranged for a country visit by the Czech exporter’s senior management to meet with some of our U.K. hardware contacts.
